Photographer Notes:
This is Bert - AKA the bush chook - He is a baby scaly breasted lorikeet he has an illness that caused a beak deformity and he will never develop a tail or flight feathers. My boys found him on the side of the road half starved...he is doing ok now... Taken with my new Canon 100mm macro lens.

Thanks PV, and thanks all for your comments. Bert is a funny little bird, with real character. As he gets older his colours will be more vibrant.
