I like the composition and the added visual effect with the tree shadows bending down then across the hill. Good call for b/w.

Large amount of a dramatic sun and shadows work very well especially when combined with the natural leading lines in the foreground! Congratulations on your wonderful POTD, Tom!

What a grand winter composition, Tom, with so much interest. I love your perspective, the terrific mood created by the sun shining through the trees casting their wonderful shadows on the snow, the balls of snow rolling down the hill and the great leading lines created by the footprints captured right in the 3rds leading through the scene. Congrats on another winning composition!
