Ghosts in the Mist

Photographer Notes:
These old pilings are all that remains of a once busy ferry dock that existed here decades ago. Now, the decaying stumps march off into the mists of history, reminding us that, like Ozymandias, all our works ultimately crumble. Perhaps one foggy day in the far future, someone will stand and gaze on what we have left behind, and it will be our turn to be the "ghosts in the mist"...
