A very lovely & well composed winter scene. I love the fresh snow in the air laying its white carpet in the CA mountains...congrats, Dave!

Thanks for your comments. This shot was taken about 30 days ago during a church cabin-retreat weekend with friends. Getting the snow storm while we were there was just lucky. We walked about 2 miles in the snow to reach this point, which sits at 6800 feet asl. A beautiful Winter scene with wonderful draw into the image via the the fallen snow covered tree! The tones perfect for mood! Congrats on a lovely composition and POTD!
