At most World Heritages sites ‘commercialism’ is banned or at least discouraged, but at Chichen Itza artist, artisans and crafters line the avenues between plazas selling their wares. This ‘crafter’ was staining a Mayan mask, one of thousands for sale. Other popular items… jewelry, clothing, pottery, hammocks and Mayan calendars.
