Really nice colours, love it! It's funny that the sea seems choppy but the picture seems so calm.

A lovely scene, Jane, with so many levels to it which attract one's eye....from the FG trees, to the two toned waters, the BG snow covered mountains, the clouds and the blue sky above that. Congrats!

Thanks for your comments and thanks PV! I had forgotten my tripod but found a fencepost to steady the camera on as a freezing wind was bringing in a storm.

Thanks, Linn. And credit where credit due. I just realized I had driven across state line and that Zephyr Cove is actually on the Nevada, not California side of Lake Tahoe.
