Photographer Notes:
While bird watching in my yard this mockingbird landed quite close. It let me hear every sound it could make. I think it was the Rich Little of the bird world. It swooped down and caught the bug then came back and posed for me.

I have never got to see a mocking bird and I know they are here. great shot and great story. congrats.

Great shot of this mocking bird with the added feature of the bug in its mouth. I really enjoy them singing too...it causes me to really marvel at the wonders of nature. Congrats, Dick!
