You really captured the various multi-directional spiky thorn like projections of this cactus well, Monnie. I would hate to bump up against one of these. Nice textures too...congrats!

Thanks so much, everyone (and thanks, PV)! I must confess I'm so frustrated with nothing in bloom yet that I've hit the local Lowe's garden shop a couple of times just to stay in practice. This was one of the more funny-looking cactus plants there.
