Such a lovely capture with beautiful reflections and clarity! I love the layers of texture here from the smooth water, to the wonderful weathered pilings and the soft billowy clouds! So pretty from top to bottom! Congrats Patrice :O)!

About the image: It was taken at Lake Superior and the BG depicted consists of the blue of the melting water on top of the remaining ice. Taken on 4-15-09. I liked the contrast of the calm waters in the FG with the still frozen lake in the BG. Fascinating that in a 40 mile distance away, parts of LS are still frozen while completely open in my area for a few weeks previously.
