So this is what they look like!! I hear them all the time..we call them March Peppers..but I've never seen one! What a great find..and wonderful detail! Congrats on a delightful POTD!

Thank you very much, PV, Doug, Kathy, Linn, Robin-Lee, Patrice, Gerda and Luis! :) Robin-Lee, go outside at dusk and look on brambles and small low branches near a pond. Follow the sound...it's the males that "sing" and their throats will be puffed out more than this. The sound of many can be almost deafening up close.
