Photographer Notes:
this beautiful lady will turn 101 on the May 20th. she had been in the hospital where mostly she missed her best friend Skeeter. I had the privilege of sitting with her in her home this after noon for a short time to care for her. She was nice enough to let me take some pictures while I was there.

Wow, I bet she has some marvelous stories to share. Great capture of her character too. I like the complimentary color between her hair and the fur of the cat...she certainly does not at all look like 101 years old. Congrats, Connie!

she was not feeling well that day so didnt take much time with the photos. also the cat was not co-operating as he was hot and wanted outside. She is a very sweet lady and loves her cat. thank you all for your comments and thanks to Kevin and crew for choosing this lovely lady today
