I would like to know more about this place, Ivan. I like the leading line of the road up to this monument? & the FG grasses together with the layered look of the rolling hills in the BG against a backdrop of a dramatic sky...congrats, Ivan, on your POTD today!

Hi Patrice I´m so glad from your request. In this place (Pampas de Junín) happened the last battle for Peru´s independence, it was sealed here (1824). So for all peruvian people this is a special place..but not so many people comes here it is near to 4000 meters over sea level high. The way you can see starts on the highway it pass near there 02 km aprox. So you first you can see this memorial so far from the highway and have to take this simple way to reach this. (to Patrice)...plants are "ichu" tipical from this highlands, them are 90-100 cm high, the camera was hands on, not over the floor. Weather is mainly cold and clouds and sky looks always interesting. I´ll post another pic from this place if it win you would see it. Greetings.
