Thanks Kirsten and Diane. Diane, you must have been stung by a female, as I have read that the males have no sting. I visit a butterfly garden locally and they are just thick buzzing and dive-bombing while looking for cicadas. I've neer been stung but will be more cautious. I wondered why I am the only one visiting that garden.
