Thank you so much everyone for all the lovely comments! Bill - the shot was taken at the Woodvale Rally, a two-day event held annually at RAF Woodvale, Southport, UK. The highlight of the show is when model aircraft stage a pyrotechnic Battle of Britain display. The explosions are supposed to be controlled, but I think some got out a little out of hand :) It was spectacular to watch and I got lucky with this shot!
