A great category winner, Doug. I bet it still works too. Things are not often made as they used to be. I remember these in my great uncle's shop as he used to repair them...congrats!

I would love to see it plugged in and those tubes glowing! For now I will be satisfied with the nostalgia. Don't know how many times I've gotten burned sticking my finger in places like that. Congratulations.

Wonderful entry Douglas ~ nostalgia plus for me :) Had many a trip to the general store testing tubes. If we were 'reaally lucky' they had the one or two in stock that we needed. Congratulations on your POTD!
