Hi Bill and Helen. We went on a photo outing and only saw a couple of birds a long way off. I really was just trying out my 180mm macro lens. I did mostly hand hold it which resulted in not too many kepers. As you can see here the dof is really small at close range. Also I was trying out my 7D. If you keep the right focus settings it is a fine camera. Thanks for your comments. Bill
