Yes, Joy...one crosses over knowing new life has been blessed. I lost my Mom this same time of year 2004. I feel your loss...and your joy with these 9 new little lives. Moms never "leave" for they are always within us. Congratulations on your DBL POTD's, they are outstanding!

Thank you so much for the comments and condolences, PV, Susie, Kumiko, Renee, Efton and Linn. I'm sorry about your mom, too, Renee. It almost seemed like Mom was waiting for the pups, or our dog was waiting on Mom. We held the first pup up to Mom's ear and she got to hear it squeak. :)

The pups are so beautiful. I would take the black and white in a heartbeat if I did not have 4 rescue dogs. Congratulations on a great shot.

How precious & priceless is this Joy, celebrating the mystery of new life...many congrats! I am so happy that your Mom could experience this awaited joy before her passing. You experienced both realities of new life and death almost simultaneously on Thanksgiving Morning. I know that your Mom was blessed by your presence and that of your family in her last months especially & you will be forever grateful for to & for her. My heart & prayers go out to you at this time of sorrow & loss.
