Thanks so much, Efton, for your comment & KK too for posting this image today. It was taken on 3/12 & although we are a month ahead of time seasonally in our area, the region surrounding Lake Superior lags behind. I like this image especially because of the many layers of the shoreline it depicts. It was a cold, misty day at the lake.

It takes excellent care and accuracy to get the correct exposure on an image such as this...you did a marvelous job, Pat! This type of weather makes shooting difficult but you show the various layers perfectly...congratulations on your win today!

Wonderful capture of a cold and forbidding scene Pat. I'm sure glad I don't live in your part of the country! Great composition and I love all the lines and curves along the shoreline. Nicely done!

Yes, there is real care taken here Pat...the exposure is excellent and especially notable given the challenging conditions. The composition is outstanding and conveys a mood of chill winter very well...Congrts on your fine work!
