I was able to shoot this by putting my lens directly on the plexiglass and shoot through without getting any glare or scratches. San Francisco Zoo. Amazing only 4 feet between me and beast!

Thanks for your comments and thanks PV. My son was there training for a summer volunteer job and I think it was early and cool enough that the cats were awake. You usually find them sleeping all day!
