What a unique looking duck with such pretty blue hues sitting on the nest she so carefully made. Nicely framed...like the feathers all around her to keep the young ones warm after they hatch. 'Tis that time of year....congrats, Judy!

Patrice and Linn, Thank you for your kind comments. The nest was built on the ground. I went by the nest this morning before sun-up and she was off the nest, the eggs were open but I didn't see any ducklings. It was too dark to really tell if they were on the pond. Hope to check it out again soon.
