My first Goldfinch and I am so happy for the comments. I must add that this was taken with a Canon 300mm f/2.8 lens on a tripod. It is a wonderful lens and partially responsible for this beautiful image. Thanks Ivan, Linn, Bill, Ellen, Gigi and Monnie for you comments and also KK and PV for this pick.
