Thanks PV for choosing my photo today! Thanks Linn and Kirsten for your comments. Kirsten...sad to say the parents deserted the 5 eggs :( ...I hadn't seen them going in & out of the nest box for a couple of weeks and decided to check the box. . We had several weeks of temps 105 - 110 and no rain before they deserted. I don't know if that's the reason or not. I was so looking forward to seeing baby Bluebirds. This was the first year for my box to be nested in.
