While shooting a street scene today, of the entire downtown district of my home town - the whole one block that it is, Ms. Bea the propietor of a wonderful junk shop / thrift store hollered out the door..."Hey Gretchen I have a book for you!" She had gotten in a box of books and there was a wonderful Jim Zuckerman book in the mix..."Here" she said - "I knew when I saw it, you'd like it! - oh just take it!" She serves our economicaly depressed area well with low low prices and is always ready with a "a box from Ms. Bea" when families hit extremely difficult times. Welcome to small town America, where everyone is still friendly and always has smile and a little something for you.
