Photographer Notes:
At Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, over 97,000 souls are interred. I just happened to catch this lady as she paid her respects. It's a staggering sight to see all those white monuments stretching out across the hills. The Cemetery is on a high point above the bay.

Outstanding. I visited this place over a year ago and it made such a impact on me. Was visiting my son in the Navy stationed there.
