Photographer Notes:

We spent a very enjoyable day at the Des Moines Renaissance Faire in its new, permanent location. There were sword fights and even a Joust. "Judas the unforgiven" (the designated bad guy) un-horsed "Jason the Just"in the first match. Unfortunately we couldn't stay late enough to see the last Joust in which Judas would face "Arthur" who reportedly never loses. It's a bit like pro wrestling but injuries do occur. It is great to watch. The entire faire is worth a trip.
