Photographing the Europa from a Canoe

Photographer Notes:
From June the 30th until yesterday (well, since it's after midnight, the day before yesterday, really), Toronto was privileged to be host to several visiting Tall Ships from the US, Canada and Europe, joining 2 Tall Ships that regularly cruise the lake here. Yesterday was the final day of the Waterfront Fest, and it featured a parade of the tall ships. I was lucky enough to catch the beautiful Europa bein g photographed by a couple of intrepid photographers in a canoe.

What a great and classic shot. Love the colors and composition. The two guys in the rowboat give it some 'perspective'!
