Bootstrap Bill Turner Passes Away :(

UPDATE 10/27/2011... Bill Turner passed away. Prayers for his family and friends.

Just learned that one of our members, 'Bootstrap' Bill Turner has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. According to his shared emailed, one lung is gone and the other is inoperable.

I'll be shifting to the VA facility later this AM.
The cancer is terminal. My right lung has been destroyed and
the left lung is infected with cancer and is inoperable.

Dear Bill...We cared for Mom in our home when she was faced with a sudden expected diagnosis of terminal lung cancer. I saw her go through what you may be going through, and I just wanted to say, I feel for you and encourage you. Hard to explain, but ultimately, there was such a depth of sweetness and peace that, although it is a horrible disease, it was faced-down and conquered in spirit. I'll be thinking of you.
