The evening sunlight was illuminating this patch of moss in the woods. I took the picture looking straight down at the moss.

Very well seen and taken with perfect lighting bringing out the deep green color of the moss! Congratulations on your POTD!

Thanks Linn! The sunlight was just perfect. I had never noticed the star pattern of the individual moss stalks before. :)
