Photographer Notes:
Horseshoe Bend is too sweeping a scene to be encompassed in a single frame using my 17-35mm lens. This is a multi-frame composite, stitched together with Arcsoft PMK3 software, then processed using ImageAlign Pro to get rid of barrel distortion at the top and bottom of the image. The result begins to approximate the vastness of this canyon and the visual impact of the scene.

Really nice! And well merged together - before I read your notes I was wondering what you had done with the picture, it just looked as a really beautiful capture but knowing that you've merged together a series of frames makes it even more impressing! Congratulations on your POTD!
