Photographer Notes:

Spent the day on October 6 working on our back deck -- a project two years in the procrastination stage. Hopefully before next WPD, I'll have it done completely. These are the ballisters for the deck railings. Decided to save time predrilling and prethreading the screws. Still have stairs and top rails to do... but getting closer.

Our work is never over - you, at least are showing progress with the boards and nails. Keep up the good work - it will be over soon as long as you stay with the project - wonderful clarity in the image!

This makes me laugh because when my son was little he wrote in school that, "My dad likes to work on the deck." I guess he mistakenly believed this because it was taking so long to finish! Your image really tells the story!
