Photographer Notes:

After a mediocre summer here in the UK, true to form it rained again today! Longing to get out to take my WPD photo, the rain finally ceased and the sun came out for while. This is the result. I don't know when it will remain dry enough to harvest the crop,s but they are obviously ready.

A beautiful composition with the grains against a dynamite sky and the aboundant rich clouds!

I love this shot - simple, yet strong and dynamic. Reminds me of my midwest upbringing; my grandfather and uncles wheat fields. Good contrast and definition.
