A not-so-recent style in Boulder: Driving around holding over-inflated inner tubes to the side of your car. With a bonus Subaru, because this is the road between Boulder and Nederland.

The river they are tubing in is right below the road to the left. The rear car is on a bridge over that river (Boulder Creek on the west edge of Boulder, Colorado)

This shot cracked me up! Without the backstory, I would have thought it was a punch line from a Gallagher joke. Nice catch. There are sure some odd things to see sometimes, eh?
