Photographer Notes:
We went to the Burlington Vermont water Front today with our daughter and grandchildren to visit a Childrens Museum. This statue was on the water front to Honor all the sailors lost at sea. I took alot of pictures today but at the last minute deceided that this picture tells a story and is a reminder of our military men and women and that they put their life on the line for us each and every day and that not all of them make it home to their families.

It's a very nice picture, and I think that bird on the logs that's sticking up from the water is joining you in the honoring. Peaceful, yet dramatic. I like it!

A powerful image with an even stronger message...beautifully framed and captured! I hope you submit this to other POTD sites...it is a winner for sure!

A gorgeous shot, love the composition and the contrast between calm foreground and sea and ebullient sky, Kathy.
