Most people think of Disney when Central Florida is mentioned. But few realize the beautiful wildlife present is this area. Every day as in this World of Pictures Day subjects such as this bird can be found close to one's home.

Awesome Capture Lin Love the close up of this snowy and all the detail of the feathers and the eye. I love seeing pictures of the Florida birds there are so many different ones and all so beautiful.

An outstanding portrait of one of your favorite subjects with excellent detail, color and clarity. Love the eye detail and especially those feathers on the back of its neck. You are right, Linn, there is so much beauty found close to home. I would love to see one of these birds near to my home, however.
