Photographer Notes:

Sigma 105mm macro lens. Weather was dull and overcast and not a good light for macro photography so he didn't come out too bad eh! Sitting on a conifer tree in our garden, just waiting for me to take a photo.

its a gatekeeper I think and not so esy to shoot. great job yu did because they don't like showing off their top wings too often.

Thank you Mary. Yes, its a Gatekeeper, sorry should have noted that on photo. He/she stayed in that position for quite a while, just wondering if a bird had tried to have him for breakfast as his bottom wing has a chunk out of it lol... Thank you C.L. Henson...I do love it when they stop and pose. I took over 200 photos of a common blue female laying eggs in garden but she did it on wrong date. Got some fantastic shots though lol
