Today is a day to reflect and remember that fateful day in 1944, D-Day, June 6th, when allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy to begin the ending of WWII in Europe. We should also remember and honor all those who fought, gave their lives, or were wounded to secure the beach head on that day.
