PhotoInduced.com Announces
"Let's Do Lunch" Photo Contest to Benefit Local Food Banks

Los Angeles, CA - Photoinduced.com announced the launch of "Let's Do Lunch," a photo contest that asks you to take pictures of your midday meal and help feed the hungry. The contest is now accepting paid online submissions from photographers at letsdolunchcontest.com with a percentage of the proceeds going to the grand prize winners' local community food bank.

Lunch is a meal that splits the day and is a gathering place for business, friends, loved ones, and sometimes just the energy boost to jet you through the day. That food can hold so many meanings, whether it's cultural, social, therapeutic, fuel or just darn tasty. "People love to remember their meals and here is a chance to help feed people in the process." Say Damon Webster, President of Photoinduced.com.

Participants are invited to log on to letdolunchcontest.com and submit their photos for any of four categories: Friends and Family- meals on a more personal level; Down to Business - lunch with a purpose; Street - delicacies only available on the boulevard; and Solo - meals on your own (desk/park/kitchen/auto, etc).

Submissions will be accepted through January, 2010. A grand prize winner and winners in each of the four categories will be selected by a panel of photography and food professionals comprised of Lou Manna, award-winning Olympus Visionary photographer; the Chow.com editorial staff; and James B. Wood, Director of Photography, Academy of Art University. One Grand Prize winner and first place winners in each of the categories will receive a selection of prizes from HP, ThinkTank Photo, Adobe, NAPP, Nikon, Blurb.com. and more. Additionally, there will be a special Student Prize and a Peoples Choice winner.

Contestants and non-contestants are also invited to log on and vote for the "People's Choice Award." The photographer whose image earns the most "people's choice" votes at the end of the contest will receive a special prize. 90 honorable mentions across all categories will be selected for the "Let's Do Lunch" book produced by Blurb.com.
